Discovering Ravenswood:
CeCe’s journey to Ravenswood began when she applied for a different property with Evergreen. During the application interview, she casually mentioned her connection to the old Ravenswood Hospital, having worked there for 15 years as a nurse. The leasing agent, recognizing the special connection, suggested applying for residency at Ravenswood Senior Living It was a surprising revelation for CeCe, but she immediately felt a sense of belonging – as if she had found her true home.
“I had heard that they were also opening a new senior building where the old Ravenswood hospital used to be. I had mentioned to the leasing agent that I used to work at that hospital years and years ago, he then asked if I wanted to apply to Ravenswood instead. I was kind of shocked to be honest with you. But I personally felt like I was home,” CeCe recalled.
