Kevin leads Evergreen’s Acquisitions and Preservation team. To date, Kevin and his team have facilitated the preservation of more than 5,000 affordable housing units. He has experience with 4% and 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, tax-exempt bonds, HUD-insured and conventional loans, historic tax credits, HOME, CDBG, AHP, and Illinois Affordable Housing Tax Credits. He has extensive experience with Section 8 contract renewal options and issues related to HUD operating subsidies.
Before joining Evergreen, Kevin worked in the Chicago office of The Community Builders, Inc., REDICO in metro Detroit, and the Real Estate Consultancy Division of Savills in Beijing. Kevin has a Master of Urban Planning degree, a Professional Certificate in Real Estate Development from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Michigan State University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois.
