CHICAGO (March 22, 2017) — Evergreen Real Estate Group, a leader in the development, rehabilitation and management of both affordable and market-rate multifamily housing, today announced that Andre A. Pintauro has joined the company as vice president of construction. In his new role, Pintauro will work closely with Evergreen’s development team to expand Evergreen’s scope of construction services within the multifamily industry as well as the commercial sector, including mixed-use, retail and hospitality.
“Andre’s ability to manage projects ranging in size, scope and complexity makes him a valuable addition to our growing construction team,” said Steve Rappin, president of Evergreen Real Estate Group. “With close to 20 years of experience, Andre will oversee projects from concept to completion, increasing efficiency without comprising the quality and standards of excellence that have made Evergreen a leader in multifamily construction and development.”
Pintauro most recently worked as a project executive and commercial business unit leader at a Chicago-based general contracting firm, overseeing more than 750,000 square feet of development. An experienced leader in the contracting world, Pintaurowas recognized for his ability to consistently complete projects within budget and on schedule. During his 14 years with the company, he served as a mentor for a number of project managers, assistant project managers and interns. Through the many projects Pintauro worked on, he was able to gain superior technical expertise in all phases of project coordination, management and development, including renovations, adaptive reuse projects and new construction.
Pintauro has also worked for one of Chicago’s largest interior contractors, where he managed projects as large as 150,000 square feet. In addition to supervising day-to-day construction, Pintauro also handled overall project oversight, bid solicitations, contract negotiations, scope reviews and contract awards for subcontractors. Pintaurois also experienced in traditional contracting delivery methods, integrated project delivery and design build.

Pintauro holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Illinois State University and certifications from the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), U.S. Green Building Council and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
